Play garba online with your partner, wherever you are

GarbaBuddy is a virtual garba ground for couples, families and friends who can't be in the same place this Navratri. Dress your dancer, ask your partner to be your garba buddy, and dance together in a lit-up 3D ground full of music, lights, singers and a whole circle of dancers.

How it works

  1. Create your dancer. Choose chaniya choli or kediyu, skin tone, hair, colours, jewellery and more.
  2. Ask them to be your garba buddy. Sign in with Google, tap “Be my garba buddy” and send them the code or link.
  3. Dance together. Pick a garba style and the whole circle dances with you, in time with the music. Walk around the ground, visit the stalls, or take photos at the booth.

Is GarbaBuddy free?
Yes. GarbaBuddy is free to play in your web browser. There is nothing to buy.
Do I need to download an app?
No. It runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer. You can also add it to your home screen like an app.
Can I play garba with my partner in another city or country?
Yes. Sign in with Google, tap “Be my garba buddy” and send the code or link. When your partner joins, you dance side by side in the same ground and hear the same music at the same time.
Which garba steps can I dance?
You can switch between Be Taali, Tran Taali, Dandiya Raas, Chakri, and add quick moves like Taali, Chakkar and Namaste. The whole circle follows your style.
What music plays?
Popular Gujarati garba songs play through YouTube's official player. You can also paste any YouTube link, and tap along to the beat so the dancers match the song.
Can we take photos together?
Yes. Walk to the photo booth, pick solo or couple poses, and take a Navratri photo together to save or share.
